‘Not Alone’ Bystander Intervention Training

Sometimes on the train, out walking or at the shopping centre we all witness aggressive incidents that make us feel uncomfortable. But often we watch helplessly, not knowing what to do. The aim of these workshops is to develop skills and confidence to actively step in and prevent violence and to teach concrete bystander intervention strategies to challenge and defuse situations. The training will open up discussion about different types of violence including: domestic violence, racism, sexual assault and bullying, with the aim of empowering participants to be active bystanders.

Dates to be confirmed.
NO COST. Major Road venue.
