Expression of interest for Skills for Community Leadership

This program is designed for Moreland community members including new arrivals, culturally diverse groups and young people. It aims to equip participants with the skills to practice community leadership across faiths and cultures and provide tools to be more reflective, creative and collaborative agents for change. The training is a follow up on the Fawkner Social Cohesion Project run by the Fawkner Community House with support of Moreland City Council. Update on the Nufarm site in Fawkner

The Nufarm site in Fawkner, is up for sale. There are concerns over the zoning of the site to being a residential zone in the future. Councillor Sue Bolton has remarked that the site would need a complete audit before the transition of light industrial zoning to full residential. Full article in the link down below.
